Such a stupid champ and barely anything counters him and even if you do find a counter there is barely any chance it will work

What counters Garen is pure skill. His simple tool set means he relies more on the player's own game knowledge and game mechanics to win games. The exact same thing applies for when fighting against him.

In short: You just played bad. That, and everyone on your team lost their lane as well.

Garen has no special tricks, or anything super, if a Garen is beating you, he's beating you by being better at laning phase.
