Continually losing

Okay, so I am open that it could be my fault for losing. When I play I'm open to positive criticism and am constantly trying to better my game play, however, I still lose. I've analyzed a lot of my games and they really aren't my fault. I communicate, I listen to pings, I try to do my role to the best of my abilities, I ask higher elo players how to get better and what to change but I still lose. I don't understand the match making system why it always seems I get the worse team. I've have been stuck in high silver for more than half this season and I don't seem to move. If I do move up it's almost like I'm punished with a massive lose streak. And I can see by my stats that it's, most of the time, not my fault. Like...what do I do? Do I pick up hyper carries and go solo or find a smurf for a duo?? Like how to people actually get out of elo hell??

you have a 49% win rate in silver ... you are winning as much as you lose ...

No I know. What I'm saying is that I'm a small factor of why I lose. I feel like in match making I'm getting the worse teammates. Like I'm looking at my match history and I had an Illoai game where the bot both afk'd after dying a lot. Then I see an awful ziggs game I had but I had the worlds saltiest Lucian who also afk'd and I had no peel. But, maybe like for real, maybe I am a silver 2 player and I need to get better. I just think I normally play better than where I'm at.

welcome to league

and i was talking with someone earlier... who seems to have the same kind of trolls, ragers, afkers etc in his games... apparently its a big problem in rank... i quit playing rank 2 seasons ago cuz i dont care about it. but it seems kinda confusing that in rank , "the serious competitive " game mode on league that people act like this more so then in normal games. when you are suppose to try and care about the rank... you would figure people wouldnt intentionally feed, afk or troll but it seem to be where it happens. hmm what a paradox

trust me its not just silver that does this. Although i'm no where a pro and refuse todo it myself. You can rank up by duo queing somone and getting on discord together. SImply put, with both yall on mics you should have double the cordination and map awareness you normally would. Also you two together would control 40% of how well your team does as opposed to the 20% you control yourself. Lets face it 3 bad team members is better than 4 after all. Like I said I'm not a pro, but anyone can see how this could instantly boost a players skill level enough togo up atleast one division. I don't do it myself because i'm afraid ill become to relyant on the method.

It's basically proven Riot matches you players based on how well youre doing. Oh you're on a massive win streak? Here get some of the worst players in your MMR range for 10 games. And vice versa. It's just Riot's way of trying to keep your win rate at 50%. My advice is if you lose 3 in a row just stop playing ranked and continue tomorrow. If you lose 3+ you're most likely gonna go on a mass losing streak.

Yeah. That would probably help with the tilt too.

What times do you usually play ranked? I find it is harder to win/get your team organized late at night when people are tired, friday/saturday night when people are drunk. And about any couple hours or so after schools are out.

Winning ranked at this elo (which is the baseline everyone is put at) is as much about picking a good time to play as it is about playing well, because there is no skill floor. Plat and above is hard to reach for drunks and kids that afk to play with legos. But silver....just play when you are less likely to encounter them.

That's some good advice. I do a lot of my playing late at night. Maybe trying earlier is a better choice.
