Zyra Nerf isn't equal

So in the recent patch we saw Zyra's distinct ability of her plants attacking the nearest enemy champion first on spawn, get nerfed. The plants now attack the nearest enemy target. This nerf I can live with as my performance on Zyra has seemed to not be affected that greatly. But when playing an ARAM game i noticed Heimerdinger's turrets atack the nearest enemy champion and not the nearest enemy target. If you nerf one does Riot usually nerf all? Would that make Heim the better pick bot?. I'm interested if their is any other champions with a similar distinct ability not being affected.

The donger isn't a better pick for support you sir are incredibly trolling here. And 2nd the donger's turrents and zyra's shit is completely different. Hers have more burst. and spawn mult in the area the enemy champion is in. Enemys have to put their selves in dongers turrets. If he trys to put one on them they take minor damage instead of major and walk out. Honestly this was needed for zyra. Donger has been said in both high and low ello to be a bad champion. He might get you to silver or gold but he's not really viable above that. Zyra is. Its bc of his kit. People at higher ello know how to counter him with any champion. and definatly counter pick him.

Agree with 80% of what Kase said. The range difference is pretty important; Heimer puts his down at melee range and they can shoot like 500 away. Zyra can spawn her plants like 800 away and still have the distance.

Also, because Heimer is not balanced to be a support the way Zyra is, he doesn't have great base damage. You'll go OOM trying to poke as hard as Zyra.
