Venting

I need to get this off my chest lest i stay up all fucking night fuming:

I hate this fucking game so goddamn much. More specifically, I hate most of what Riot's done since late season 2. There were a few gems from the Preseason 3 item overhaul, but a lot of it was utter shit (I've come to hate more of it as time's gone on). The changes to vision & sight were good, though still flawed. Cass rework was a rare push in the right direction. Returning the jungle to a savage place where only those with solid innate sustain can live was a good move, but that was really just returning the jungle to what it used to be. That's all that I can think of off the top of my head though. My response to just about every other change has ranged from apathy to raging-at-the-air fury. This game was so great, and alot of fun, but for well more than a year now the only reason I've played it is that I've no better way to stay in touch with my best friend from college. The only other online game he plays is WoW (which is in almost as bad a place and I'd have to pay for), he plays it far less frequently than he does LoL, and he is not readily available to interact with outside games (given that we're more than a thousand miles distant and he's a married man). If any one of those things changed I'd drop LoL like a sack of flaming dog-shit. And if I could get just a few smidgens of data from the devs on their evaluation of certain stats, I could get started on a hypothetical rework of the entire game; but, alas, my repeated and (generally) polite requests for said info have gone without comment or response. I really want this game to be fun again, but 'tis implausible for such to ever be the case.
