New leveling experience [Suggestion + Video]

PLAY WELL OR DIE··35 votes·1,746 views

League of Legends leveling experience as it currently stands is extremely boring, toxic, dull and very long that does not fit for the newer players to the genre or experienced folks that can't wait to play competitively.Runes and champions which are game play components of the game should be equally available for everyone, so you wouldn't need to meaninglessly grind all the same and boring normal games that no one takes seriously.

League of Legends Garena server has shown us really inspiring, exciting and interesting idea they are implementing that will help to fix those issues mentioned above.(Such changes are likely to attract people that had no interest in the game before, since every level now will feel as an accomplishment).

Watch the video and share thoughts.Cheers!

No I'm asking if we get those lvl 25+ rewards. Because those are some pretty good ones.

Na, we don't get anything.

That's pretty cool for a new players, but we must also take into consideration that smurfs can use it too, sadly.

Why is that wrong? There's nothing wrong with having smurf accounts.

Maybe I'll make even more OTP accounts for some of the other champs I like!

There's nothing inherently wrong with smurf accounts. For the most part, smurfs are just a tool used to game the matchmaking: a way to get a second, lower MMR. There are decent reasons for doing that (playing with your level 10 friends mainly, or for playing in your off-roles), but there are also terrible reasons for smurfing (you keep getting banned, or you just want to climb the ranked ladder again, stomping bronze-gold players along the way).

Riot has admitted to both the good and the bad kinds of smurfs; they aren't currently willing to make the trade-off by stomping out all of them.

But saying that there's nothing wrong with smurfs is... (for lack of a better word) misguided.

It depends how you define smurfs. You might be talking about guys that are just playing to learn other roles in the game on normals or ranked, but I'm mostly talking about smurfs that are just playing to "pwn some noobs" and are playing ranked just to have fun by destroying other, worse players.

While this would be good you have to remember the Garena server is still "new" at least when compared to NA and EU. With that said as well the Garena server (if i remember correctly) is basically like all the other types of Asian companies where you need a Korean/Japan/Chinese Social Security number when you sign up for these types of services. Its not like here where anyone can make an account in a few seconds. Plus the fact that more often than not these types of servers are crowded with smurfs. They usually keep it to one to two accounts. Let alone they dont deal with bots/hackers like NA/EU has, which would make something like this a whole huge problem because the amount of RP you can get from this could easily be abused and just make accounts to buy champions/skins on your main.

This would have been a great idea had the game just come out, but nowadays something like this would just rid the game more full of bots because they would be able to level up fast, get a huge set of champions/ip/rp, and sell the account. Plus would they compensate for people who are already level 30? what if you own all those champions already? it wouldnt be fair towards people who are already playing the game, and is basically only for people who are new to the game period!

Wrong. This would essentially kill botting altogether. The whole point of botting and selling accounts is because leveling accounts takes too long and it takes even longer to get a decent amount of champions for ranked. This system basically will keep you on a permanent XP boost and give you IP, rune pages, and champions to prepare you for ranked much quicker than other region's systems. Botting won't be in demand anymore when people can level their accounts in only a few days and have a larger champion pool when they are done.

And you think that is going to stop botting? They could start you out with a level 30 account and botting would still be here, the point of botting could be one of many things. Mainly to level up, but also to get a large amount of champions (sometimes skins), runes and IP/RP. Which does all of this. If people wanted an account ready for rank they would rather buy it than make a new one and do this. You underestimate how lazy most of the people who use botted accounts are.

No, but if you actually understand how supply and demand work, it'll cripple it.

No.. not really.

This is how supply and demand works within the context of league and botting:

>Leveling up is boring, and takes too long.

>Demand rises, price increases for accounts

>Bots come in, the amount of accounts with IP and champs increases. Prices fall.

>This new system arrives. Leveling up takes a fraction of the time, and you get more champs. Less demand.

>Bots produce more and more accounts faster. Supply increases.

>Less demand and higher supply, botted account prices plummet. It becomes hardly worth doing because the account risks being banned.

So essentially less people are going to bother buying botted accounts because they can level up the account with IP and get a ton of champs for minimal cost. Pretending that this system is going to increase the frequency of bots is ridiculous.

Botted accounts get ban already, but it does take time. I just dont see how this would diminish botted accounts. Again do you know how lazy people are? they want everything unlocked now, not playing a couple weeks or months to get to level 30, they want it now, so they will do anything to get a new fresh account to troll and whatnot.

Alright then, your understanding of economics is so lacking that I'm not even going to bother.

They say they look at every board. Of course, doubt is in people's minds since well, they don't really post much.
