Is Olaf Good To Climb?

I love olaf. played him on 3 accounts. but is he still good. i like him top lane. but can i climb with him or is he just suitable for cheese strategies? any replies are appreciated. . if he isn't good to climb i will drop him and find something better. please give alternatives. thank you.[slayer-jinx-wink]
