Why did Riot increase minionblock a while ago?

I was watching a league video:

and I was wondering again why rito decided to increase minionblock a while ago, because it like the most unfun and frustrating experience to get blocked like this and even have to flash to avoid getting killed because of this.

Just looking for a good reason.

Probably to make flashy mobility stronger or something. In all honesty no clue.

I was looking through old patch notes and I am pretty sure they do it every year.

My best guess is because they increased movespeed so increased creepblock to balance maybe?
