Ranked Match

Wait so I was playing a ranked match and im Gold 5 and I got paired with a unranked first-time lvl 30 in my match? I didn't know this was possible, the past two weeks I would also be paired with unfair teams my team would be low elo silver whilest the other team had mid elo gold and high silver
