JayHog19922 votesHe's always relevant, problem is that the meta these days is mobility, which screws up to Veigar players if the enemy mid laner is a high mobility champion like Zed.

Because of his terrible mobility, I grab stormraider's surge so I can just run off after bursting someone.
Tails Thee Fox1 votesIt's more than just mobility being an issue, it's how devastatingly weak his early game is that is truly inhibiting Veigar from succeeding. With his base dmg's nerfed, his 80% enemy ap scaling on his ult holding back his burst power towards all champions, the meta still being more early game focused when he's a late game monster, and his insanely high mana costs...
They all come together to make Veigar underwhelming.
The least that could happen is that he can get he laughs for when he kills with his ult, it will help the Veigar player snowball. ;)

HOnestly, if I could make things better, it would be increase the Q's base damage and decrease the % of enemy AP's reaction to his ult. Makes his ult weaker, but his early game better.

Tails Thee Fox1 votesThey just said that today was shaping up to be the day they started talking about their changes, be that as it it is tomorrow is the day of the new PBE patch even if it's not today we should see it tomorrow anyways.
Veigar's real problem is indeed his passive and the enemy ultimate ap scaling-they said they're removing the ap scaling. So he'll probably be stronger in other areas as a result. c:
