Remove the ability for Teammates to ban your selected champion in Draft/Ranked

There's no beneficial reason to allow this, either they'll ban your champ because they don't want that particular champ on their team or they're trying to force you out of your role. Today someone banned my champ because apparently, they didn't see I had selected them and somehow missed the greyed out portray to tell them that someone on their team had selected that champ.

I can't think of a single reason why this should be allowed so why not just get rid of it?

Yasuo is irritating to play against and for whatever reason, there is always a huge difference between the yasuo on your team and the yasuo on the enemy team. I get my ban so I will use it how I want.

I can't think of a single reason why this should be allowed so why not just get rid of it?

As others have said, if you are hovering a highly contested pick, and you can't pick it early/your team can't pick it for you, it is just more efficient to ban it out rather than risk letting the enemies pick it.

I understand the points everyone is making and maybe it just comes down do experience because i have never seen anyone banning a champ because it's highly contested but more because they didnt agree with the pick or were simply trolling. But I guess I was mistaken. Y'all take care and cheers for the feedback.

Let’s say it is a widely contested pick, not only are there times when you aren’t first picking on your team, there are times they don’t have the champion to trade. So sometimes they ban to ensure the opponent doesn’t get it
