Current Normal Matchmaking...
So, I have to ask, or at least bring it to attention, but what is the current issue with Match Making in normals? Things are WAY skewed at this point, from what I can tell, while playing with some friends who are working on getting their accounts to 30. Its been really terrible, and from a new player perspective, incredibly frustrating. I know that the current matchmaking system will stack the odds against you slightly, to compensate for people queuing together, but, for example...

No amount of communication is going to bridge the gap for my poor friend who had to go up against the Plat 2 Riven player top. To size things up for everyone, our team consisted of myself (Silver 5, highest being silver 3, I think), my wife (last placed in Bronze 3), my one friend (first time getting to 30, the Garen, level 28), and my other friend (her second account, leveled it with her boyfriend, level 28-the Cait, who has an unranked level 30 account). So, in short, A Silver 5, a Silver 4 (our Zed, I believe), a Bronze 3, and two 28s were matched up against a Plat 2, two Golds, and 1 Silver. Truthfully, I don't mind losing so much, and I learn from people who are just better, but for my friends, this has been very frustrating, especially since they are just learning this game, or trying to understand it better in the case of the other friend. Queuing up together puts us at a communication advantage, I get it, but to skew it THAT hard is just demoralizing for them. Its not like we've been on a winning streak, or stomping, its been far from it, yet we're getting matched very unfairly.
Compare to this match we had earlier, with the one friend on her main account:

Again, my wife and I queued up with the one friend (Zersumae, L0ve Zer0 on her other account), and we were matched up against players in Bronze and Silver. Did we kinda roll that match? Yes, in this case, but we're not looking for an easy win, just one where we stand a chance. That was with 3 of us queued together, so I refuse to believe that adding one other person gets us people up to 3 divisions higher than any single person on our team. This isn't the first time this happened either, but I had to make mention of it now, because I can see my friends losing motivation to play if they continually get stiomped this hard while just trying to learn. I know that Riot's looking to remove the "Queue Together Penalty" at some point, but can it happen soon, or perhaps is there a fix on the way to mend this wonky match making?
