How to get an S????

I have been playing a lot of Vayne recently, trying to achieve level 7 champion mastery with her. I have been consistently playing well with her for about a week, I am currently in Silver 1, in promos for gold. My KDA as Vayne for the last week has been scores like: 14/2/7, 17/10/17, 12/1/8, 7/3/8, 17/10/19, 13/3/7, 17/4/8. Throughout all these games I have maintained high damage dealt to champs (usually in top 3) and high cs. however, i have earned about 20 S minuses and no S's. Is there something wrong with the system or does riot expect me to have a perfect KDA with about 15 kills, highest cs, highest damage, and most towers taken to be able to earn an S? I have gotten S's playing way worse than I've been playing recently with Vayne and with MUCH easier champs. please tell me what it takes to earn an S. This has been happening for about a week and I'm beginning to suspect there is a bug where somehow the game can't give me an S.Vayne

Lots of cs, warding, damage done, kills, assists, little to no deaths (anything higher than 2 and you prob wont be getting S). Time is also a factor. if you have 10 kills by 15 min and manage to close out the game fast you can get an S (10 kills at 15 min is highly unlikely though). They take all kinds of statistics into account. KDA is not the end all be all.

for example: you're not getting an S if you have 10 deaths (17/10/17). A good example of S tier play for Vayne would be, 7/0/4 180 cs @20 min and lots of warding done (PINK WARDS <3). Not impossible, but to get an S you need to be having a good game, it's not supposed to be easy to get.

EDIT: I'd also like to add it depends on the playrate of champions, and the role you play them in. There's a high player count for ADC Vayne, but if you played support Vayne (please don't actually do this unless you have a friend to queue up as ADC who plays support), you would probably get an S because the number of Vayne players in support role is low.

I remember I played Urgot support one time, went 1/12/5 and got s-, because nobody plays Urgot, let alone Urgot support. If you play less common champs, it'll be easier to get S because there's less player scores to compare it to.

The most selfish way to get easy S is to CS like hell. Honestly if you don't care about winning just CS as hard as you can while maintaining a 'normal' KDA. I've ended a game as Shen before being 3/2/8 (nothing special right?) with an S or S+ because I had 300+ CS. We won that game too, but that's just a bonus

It depends on your champ. You could never get an S with a score of 3/2/8 on Vayne. Even if you had 500 cs you wouldn't get an S with that KDA on an ADC.

Just an example as a tank

Get better at csing early.

Don't listen to people who simply say "lots of cs and kda". GPM is a big factor, and the reason why everyone in low elo thinks "oh if the game ends too early you won't get your S cus you need more farm" is because it's much much easier for people to farm mid to late game, and not early.

Improve your early farming first and foremost, take jungle camps inbetween, farm side lanes, participate in every objective, buy pinks like freaking crazy (this helps a ton), ward every time it's up and try to do reasonable damage to enemies.

And consider the fact that the more enemies you kill on deathstreaks the less gold you get from them, when you could be clearing several waves for $$ instead.

These are all very specific things you should be doing anyway, and surprise surprise... exactly what you need to consistently win matches and climb the ladder.

Go support, build supp items, kill the cs and kill the enemies while not dying at the same time. You will get a S+ just by doing this

However, you will also probably be reported for trolling.

And it's not 'just by doing this', you're talking about stomping your lane...

Riot won't an you for going off meta. And It is pretty easy to do so tho. Its basically a guaranteed S.

Yeah but your teammates will get mad because you're taking the ADC's CS.
