Need help with Graves!

Anybody got tips on how to play Graves top? I'm Plat III and struggling to do well on him top lane.

Some people go AS and AD runes. Some just AD.

Some use Thunderlords, some go Fervor and some even the new Bloodlust.

Some build Death's Dance coupled with Phantom Dancer while others just go the standard Ghostblade. I've even seen pros building Sterakks first despite the fact that if I do that I'll do literally ZERO damage ;-;

But mostly, gameplay wise? So far I get straight up shit on by EVERY single fighter that has a decent combination of tankiness and damage (Fiora, Darius, Naut, Trynda, you name it.) They walk up to me in lane and they both can take more damage and hurt me more. How am I supposed to be playing?

I've tried watching some pros gameplay footage but they always get some cheese advantage like invade and FB which is already half way to win a lane so not rly reliable..
