I can't seriously think that the circle for Xin Zhao's ult making him invulnerable to damage from outside of it is stupid, right?? Seriously, I know that getting rid of that effect would render it useless, but maybe you could reconsider where damage sources come from?
Illaoi's ultimate should be able to damage him still. Maybe have it so Illaoi still has to be in the circle for it, I don't care, just... right now it's pretty unbalanced, directly in Xin's favour.

Elbow Deep VI1 votesI completely get what you're saying, but Illaoi is basically nothing without the tents, she doesn't have the cc that a lot of other champs do, and can't pile on any sort of real damage except maybe with her E. I never got the chance to try it.

It's a hard counter thing. You know how unfun it is for Xin before his rework against illaoi? He dash in, she ults and he dies. It's especially true when I play old xin top lane against Illaoi, there's nothing you can do against her.

Old Xin used to hard counter Fiora, but new Xin is hard countered by Fiora, we win some we lose some. I've played around with his ult and it's pretty fun as a bait. I'd run into Lux snare, bait her E and ult, hit R then proceed to dash to her and 100-0. I playing against Zed right now and testing if his ult negates ult damage if Zed exits the circle.

Kayle ult can be placed on any team mate which is an inherent advantage over Xin's ult. Although you can CC both when they ulted, if you play a non-CC champion, you can't kill someone under Kayle's ult but you can still duel Xin within his radius. Example, a Fiora can not kill Kayle if she ults herself, but Fiora can kill Xin when he ult himself. This is why Xin's ult has more counterplay. I did not say Kayle ult does not have counterplay.

GrievousFetus1 votesI think it's mostly fine, all that needs to be cleaned up are fringe cases like Illaoi where the damage doesn't originate from the champion themselves. Come to think of it I think Illaoi, along with Heimer, is the only champ in the game where she could be in melee range of Xin but her damage could originate outside of his ult.
