As someone who is typically tank support, I need the portal to dig my way out from an AS-only ADC who blames me for kills, and tells me to stfu. You don't nerf the portal without nerfing tank supports.

There are slight nerfs on ZZ'Rot portal on PBE, but they are quite tiny.

In general, I think Riot is happy with ZZ'Rot portal emergence, this game really needed a way to create positional advantage on the enemy other than TP.

To me it seems do nothing more than make games that should be closable, harder to close for the team that doesn't invest in it. While also making a team that get's it and gets ahead, far harder to deal with. I really dislike that it's more or less mandatory now.

As a concept I love the portal. I enjoy that there's a viable item choice that gives armor and mr that isn't GA. I love that it's seeing play, and I think that it has potential to be a really healthy/fun/tactically sound option.

That being said, there are definitely things I don't like about it. It feels like at times the only way to counter the pressure provided by a portal is with a portal of your own. It's also starting to feel like it's just becoming a default item. There's not really a situation where you don't build it; You just always build it.
