What if the Lp system was based off individual skill rather than a team's win or lose?

So we base Lp off of the champion mastery system.

S= +20lp A= +10 B= 0 C= -10 D = -20 F= is this possible? lol

If a player does well themselves they gain Lp. If a player does bad they lose Lp.

This gets rid of trolls easier and doesn't base Lp gain/loss off of relying on teammate skill. Or win/lose.

The game is about team work and cooperation, whichever team cooperates the best and wins gets the LP while the team who didn't... well, doesn't. LoL isn't about individual power, its a team game.

Exactly. If more people understood this and practiced this we would have less trolls and better players. High ranked players understand this and that is why they are high level players. The argument always will be by the bad players that challengers do it themselves which is wrong because they still need their team to do it. They just know how to use their team and work with their team where most players are self absorbed and say fuck their team and that's it, and they don't rank up.

I picked Thresh one game, fed like crazy and got an S+ because I happened to have assists.

It's a nice idea, but it's a pipe dream. In an ideal world, your promotion or demotion through the ranks would be based on YOUR performance in a game, rather than whether you get dragged down by ten-thumbed cretins who literally don't even know how to play, or carried by diamond smurfs who descend from their ivory towers to stomp bronzies with Riven. Being assessed on your performance and your performance alone is the only way that would be truly fair.

However, it's impossible. Champion Mastery is a very loose, casual system which can never amount to anything more than cosmetics because it's too inflexible and too open to abuse. A player who focuses exclusively on actions that boost the Mastery score for their role, even while he completely fails to support his team, should not be rewarded for putting his S+ rank ahead of victory. Plus some champions have multiple roles, which means their score may not necessarily reflect whether or not they actually "did well" in the role they were having to fill (you know Nunu is classified as a Support, rather than a Tank/Bruiser?). So basically League isn't fair and all you can do is deal with it.

No, but I think it should be 50/50 with the current system.

E.G. Person with S+ would lose much less than a person with C. (if you ever happen to get D or F I assume you are an intentional feeder)

Your individual skill means nothing if you cannot lead your team to victory.
