Beating vayne in lane as a support

I am a silver support main and i can never win lane against vaynes, the notable exception is when the vayne is absolutely terrible. I know that you cant do more than 1 auto attack trades against her or you will lose the trade with AA,AA, tumble,AA and there goes 25 to 50% of your health depending on how squishy you are. what can i do against her in lane. I have tried leona and she just condems me and i am useless. thresh she just tumbles the hook same with blitz. Sona is good until she hits level 3 and then it is GG for me because i am so squishy and i run out of mana trying to poke her out of getting cs. Tahm does the best out of everyone because i can use his e to shield her true damage when the third proc comes. I am tired of losing to this champion every single time, what can i do as a support to even just go even in lane(which is a loss because she is such a hyper carry).

I seemed to have success when i was supporting an ezreal as morg. Black shield prevents her from ccing the adc. The root stops her from tumbling. Ezreal can poke her prettyy easily due to range advantage. I don't know if the vayne was bad or it was because they had a yasuo support, but it seemed pretty one sided. I'd be interested in seeing other opinions since i'm an unranked scrub.

I like nautilus as long as your adc is competent enough to auto a couple times your high base damages plus shield make short trades pretty one sided.

Morgana - A good root will mess her up, and you can prevent getting stunned by Condemn with your Black Shield Karma , Sona , and Lulu can keep her out of lane with their poke (at least early on before she has Bork)

The answer is: You are not supposed to, you are the support! It's not even a Vayne "thing". Why would you think that is what you are supposed to be doing Why would ever you think you are supposed to be out-damaging and out-trading when you are playing a champion with no gold and no offensive items? Your lane mate is the one who is going to be trading with Vayne and your job is set up favorable circumstances in the lane so that the **two ** of you can win the lane.

For blitz you have to either engage with flash E or predict her tumble. I've played against Vayne with blitz/trist and it worked well. We got some good trades off and I flashed on her to knock her up. Trist planted the bomb and I pulled her back in when she tumbled away. For thresh it's the same. Engage with E or predict the tumble. If you exhaust or flay you can save the hook for when she tumbles. Not sure what's happening with Leona. Are you getting condemned during Zenith Blade? You still have exhaust and ult. Alistar is good at engaging on Vayne and keeping her out of team fights. Vel is great at zoning her from cs if your adc knows how to freeze lane. Soraka can guarantee your adc wins all trades. If she ever uses her comdemn to trade, go in a few seconds after while it's still on cd. Botlane match ups are tricky because it 2 people in a lane, so who her support is and who your adc is makes a big difference.
