Rek Sai's Tunnels Are Free Wards.

When you destroy one of Rek Sai's tunnels, the summoner can see it immediately vanish on their mini map. I think this is incredibly unfair, and frankly ridiculous. It provides an easy, exact, and instant location for anyone who destroys them, one ping and suddenly the whole team knows, oh someone is there. Jungle camps do not act like this, you only see they are gone on your mini map when someone provides vision of them in real time or counter jungling would be useless, jungling would be useless you could track the junglers path by simply the icons on your map bleeping out. A jungler's sense of invisibility is a crucial element to the game (if you do not see them, they could be anywhere), which is just shit on for anyone attempting to counter jungle this champion. Specifically early this is a huge concern, as most of the other members of the team are in their respective lanes, clearly meaning any destroyed tunnels is the enemy jungler. Later on it isn't as bad, but still an instant notification of a champion being "there" is definitely a broken game mechanic. My solution to this is that Rek sai's tunnels act as jungle camps, you don't see them gone on the mini map until, you see them gone in real time. Now this demands a change to her ult, I suggest two stages, much like Twisted Fate's. First stage reveals all remaining tunnels, second click brings you to your selected one. These are just my suggestions, but the problem with Rek Sai's tunnels must be addressed. You can't have twenty tunnels lying around that immediately reveal they have been destroyed on the mini map. Essentially, free wards. Thank you for reading. -JerTheManMathews

cough Teemo Shrooms cough And they do massive damage, stealthed, slow, explode, etc. Plus they provide wider vision if you step on them or not. Its also not a requirement to step on them in the order you encounter them.

Teemo shrooms require a great deal of mana, time out quicker, and are traps that are sprung when an enemy champion steps on them, they are countered with pinks and red trinket. The main difference is you want to step on Rek Sai tunnels to destroy them, nobody wants to hit a Teemo Shroom. One you run into, the other you make the conscience decision to destroy.

Rek'Sais tunnels are still useless without Rek'Sai unless someone steps on them or has teleport. Even then Rek'Sai or the person with teleport can only dive through them or teleport to them, which makes it a risk in which they can die, unlike Teemo's shrooms. Teemo's shrooms can also still watch a wider area and deal a fairly strong and slow-equipped explosion which reveal them as well. In addition: Teemo can be dead and they still will be able to explode(and be teleported to as well.) I will give it that the tunnels last longer, but effectivly there are only 4 as if you step on one entrance you destroy them both. With a maximum of 4 entrance pairs it is about the same as 3 stealth wards and a visable ward except they are visble and have worse vision. I have seen plent of teemos have 4+shrooms at a time.

shroom duration: 10 minutes tunnel duration: 10 minutes

the main difference is that you are given a choice, whether you wanna destroy that rek sai tunnel 98% of the time, you dont even see that shroom coming u know, kinda like surprise buttfk

Everyone should be pitching in to ward anyways. It would be bad if a team makes its Rek'sai do all the warding with her tunnels.

This champion is totally broken. for the person comparing tunnels to shroom that is un ulti on a squishy champion. this is the advantage of about the tunnels: 1- Can't destroy the tunnels which give the enemy huge advantage. 2-Give your location to the enemy when you destroy it. 3 - You take full combo from Rek'Sai while trying to destroy it. 4-Gives Rek'Sai Free Flash and mobility. 5-Fills the small map with her tunnels imagine 2 Rik'Sai in one game.
