I may know how to fix Aery!

So Aery (I believe) was created as a keystone for poke supports, or just supports in general. But it has been abused by ADC's like Jhin and Miss Fortune, and probably more. I think the way to fix this is...

  • Remove the damage from the user with Aery
  • Make it so when an ally gets shielded by Aery they get a % damage boost temporarily

This will make this a much more support-heavy keystone, but if you want real poke you can still take Comet if you'd like, or Kleptomancy for some more gold. This makes it so there is still diversity in keystones.

What do y'all think? :D

Aery is, from what I can tell, the replacement for Deathfire Touch; which I don't believe had a cooldown. The only issue is Aery's damage output early game was far stronger than what Deathfire ever did. They had the right idea with lowering the damage, but missed the nail entirely when DOT could still trigger it multiple times. Teemo being the biggest offender where 2 auto's would have a long enough length to trigger it twice on the final tick. They need to make it so that DOT can't produce it a second time for sure, but I think they also need to lower the base damage again.

It's meant to be a damage keystone that's more reliable but with less scaling than comet. It's not a support keystone per-say, but it has that "extra effect" tacked on in case a support want to go more dmg path-oriented.

Truly I think Aery needs a release-valve/cost for using it though. Sure, Klepto is overtuned, but the idea of needing to use an ability to gain the empowered makes playing around it more fair (other than champs like Ezreal Gangplank with a cheese proc).
