They are considered troll picks because A; most league players are young children and are incapable of thinking without meta, and B; they are weak picks that are only going to suceed with an experienced player and in very specific conditions. Most of the times offmeta picks feed.

lilpokfluf1 votesNothing has a 0% win rate, it's just that soraka top or whatever you're asking statistically has a high chance of losing. You may win one game but then lose the next 5, it's like playing azir in his intended role. While it's not bad he loses most games even though he's played correctly.
The back lash comes from people not wanting to place their faith on a 25% chance miss fortune top.
