Umm... there IS an option. It gives you the prompt at the beginning of the match and instructions on how to disable it.
When you enter the game, the way to disable it is in the chat as an announcement.
Press "esc" then in there checkmark "disable Arcade map."
Sorry to dovetail, is there a way to turn off the minions and changed music? I wouldn't put it the same way, but I dislike the arcade look.
