What I think we should do about the whole AR Ultra Rapid Fire argument.

I honestly think that Riot should just add regular URF as well as the new AR Ultra Rapid Fire. It allows players to pick what they like the best. So the people who don't like this new gamemode can just play regular URF, and the people who like the new gamemode can play it. It also doesnt ruin the fun of URF.
From my point of view, I love being powerful in the game. URF was one of the gamemodes that made me feel really happy. Now with this new gamemode I have just been trampled from all the OP champs the enemy team has got. I think it would be a great idea for Riot to add both URF and AR URF at the same time. If you disagree please leave feedback in the comments I would love to hear other sides of the story or different opinions.

Riot has more excuses for ignoring us than my father did when he left. Sad to say they're both true, but I was making a comparison.

That aside (not altering the above because I don't really care), I doubt they'd ever even think twice about ignoring this idea. If they wanted to do that they'd have already done that for Dominion, but sadly they didn't and look where that's at. I think it would be pretty awesome to be able to have both pre- and post-update versions of game modes available, just so players can pick just which version of the game mode they like better. Sadly Riot doesn't care on this matter and go for what gives them the most potential profit, and the new URF is better for that because it's healthier for extremely new players, so...

I think they should just make the whole champion pool available for the game mode. That way ppl can't cheese the randomness, and most of the complaints will go away.

Yeah maybe. I'd like to hear Riot's reasoning if they have one. Hey maybe next URF they'll try it though? URF probably isn't going away since it's soooo popular.

ACTUALLY I have a good reason. If the whole champion pool is open then people won't get as many rewards if they don't have a big pool already unlocked. Like in ARAM sometimes I get a champion I don't own and it says I could have gotten a reward, like a hextech key fragment or something (I forget what), but I didn't because I don't own the champion. I don't like that message and it would pop up a lot if the pool was open for random selection and I didn't have a lot unlocked already.

I'm under the assumption that they would have to write a significant amount of code to allow for that, and they just don't feel like expending the resources for it. As of now their code just references what you own, and what your teammates and you collectively own for your pick and enemy team bans respectively.

As for that message, I'm like 99% positive it pops up after every game you play a champion you don't own. I've had it every time I play a champion I don't own, yet for all those games I've never been eligible for a chest and there is no way in hell I've missed that many key drops considering their overall drop rate. Also it has popped up after a loss in which none of my party got an S.
