Why does it require a four-to-one vote to surrender? In a five man unit, three over two is majority. If three people on the team don't want to play anymore, why are two people allowed to make them stay in a game (regardless of the situation)? I mean, if we aren't doing majority rules, then you might as well make it require all five players saying yes. You want to make a real change to the game, Riot? Fix that.

Except I would keep it 4/1 requirement from 20 to 30 and decrease to 3/2 at 30:01. I would also add a surrender at 0:00 that requires 5/5 or 4/4 (as would be the case with a leaver/afker). But that's just me.

EX: your behind by nearly 30 kills before 25min, and theres no teamwork at all, personally I think a kill timer should be in place to allow surrendering after a certain # of kills is reached before a 20min game

If you're in a bad game and at twenty minutes the other team is ahead 26 kills to 3, the chances of you coming back from that are negligible. Can it happen? Sure, and yes, I know there are plenty of people with "come back stories". The chances of that happening (again) are very slim.
To that end, why should I have to suffer another ten minutes of a game -- which is no longer enjoyable as the possibility of winning is almost completely beyond my reach -- just because one stubborn jackass doesn't want to hit 'yes'.
It's an odd-numbered team, which means majority should rule. Three-to-one is fair, and Riot needs to implement that before they waste anymore time needlessly nerfing champions into the dirt.
