I'm surrounded by all the Shrooms

I've been playing a lot of Team Builders recently with my friends. We're trying to get better playing with one another, working on the team synergy and all that jazz, but I seem to have the "grand" luck of coming up against Teemo. It doesn't matter if I go top lane, bot, or mid. My last game was mid with Orianna and there was a Teemo there. Now I frequent a lot of ARAM, or used to, where you can buy sight items and clear out those deadly shrooms. But I'm having a hard time in SR figuring out how to adequately counter all those friggin' shrooms. Even the upgraded lens has a 75 second CD. Short of having an MR heavy tank face checking all the tunnels in the jungle, it seems we're stuck laning in late game because there's friggin' shrooms everywhere. Which really destroys our mobility.

Or am I missing something really obvious here? I'd appreciate some input or suggestions, tips or tricks that I'm really just not seeing myself. I'm so tired of running into those stupid shrooms.

But that does leave us hitting the shrooms, with an AOE slow. Which, late game, you don't really want to be runnin' around on your own. Ya know? So you just have to have an MR heavy tank? And just hope for the best when they hit a shroom?

with a mercurial scimitar and a blood thrister you can get the life back in 5 autoattacks, either that or buy detection items and try to predict where the mushrooms are a good purple ward can limit teemo's mushroom strats

remember that the mushrooms deal damage on ticks, therefore magic resistance is really strong against them

The only detection item at present is the sweeping lens with a 75 sec CD. :C Even the Scimitar has a 90sec CD which can be a bit rough and you can only have 1 vision ward.

Seems like you'd have to have one or two team mates built to counter Teemo just to withstand the stupid bugger and it'd still be difficult to pursue and punish in the jungle without face checking the shrooms.
