My 2 cents on the fiora re-work

After reading almost every post about the new Fiora Re-work, crunching numbers and thinking about it etcetc I have come to the conclusion that this is a brilliant idea from the Riot team. Not only is she now really REALLY viable in any team comp you could think of, but she remains just a strong a duelist as she was before, even better perhaps.

This is becuase of the %max health True damage from her passive vital strikes. One of my biggest complaints about this tank meta, is that there are very limited ways to counter it, without losing a large portion of your DPS. Such as Last whisper/Ghost blade/Black cleaver and The warrior enchantment for junglers. Or for AP assassins Void staff/Sorcerers shoes/Liandrys and abyssal scepter. Yes these are really good items, but building them you lose crucial stats such as life steal, attack speed/crit chance, Or More raw AP for scaling which is important on some bruisers or assassins. But they've incorporated that INTO her passive and ult rewarding people for playing smart. meaning that she wont be losing so much DPS when trying to counter tanks, which are seriously a huge problem in the game for people who love building assassins.

Her new kit is going to take so much more skill than just point and click kills, that her old Kit basically was. The basic Fiora combo before the rework was the following : E/Q/AA/AA/AA/Q(if they had mobility) And then rinse and repeat, which you did a lot of if they were an unstoppable meat wall with a Warmogs, Randuins and frozen heart. Which honestly is very boring and repetitive in my opinion, but now there's going to be a lot more to think about when going into duels or team fights. You'll find yourself asking where you should be positioned for maximum DPS or actually intelligently using your W which was basically just sitting there for a small punishment and AD boosting ( which they removed btw so she isn't so incredibly oppressive in early game) And not to mention her E which now is a guaranteed critical AND a slow for maximum positioning. Thats Intense, and very powerful.

Now I see a lot of people complaining about her ult saying its either A.) Doesn't fit in her kit B.) Is too powerful or C.) Just plain BS because she'll be able to one shot tanks and squishes alike. There are a lot of problems with all 3 of these arguments, mainly because they aren't looking at the ult correctly. Her ult currently, is a point and click Master Yi Q with okay damage. This means she can do whatever the hell she wants, go as deep as she wants, and not be punished for it, because if she just targets the Squishy in the beginning of her ult, she'll end up punishment free due to the fact that her target is sitting there wondering if they really actually ever had a health bar. Not to mention shes probably full health afterwards. But now She actually has to think about who shes going to target, why shes targeting them, where that will put her in the fight and if the pay off is good enough (One dead person and an AMAZING HEALING ZONE. I mean that alone is game changing in any scenario ,Basically a free Janna ult without the cc.) She will be able to SHRED tanks, adding on to the aspect of being " The Grand duelist" such as being able to out play her opponents and contribute more to the team rather than just Raw ass ripping damage. Yes this is a really great and powerful ult, but the question remains if its too powerful? There have been posts with theory crafted builds of being able to do 127% maximum health as true damage to one target. But what they didn't take into account was how quickly she would be shut down, and picked on for even attempting that build. she would be useless to her team as a duelist/bruiser due to the fact that anyone with the smallest bit of damage would kill her fairly quickly. I've also seen the argument that %Maximum health as true damage is a very broken mechanic, that theres no counter play and that it should be %maximum health as AD. But think about it this way, if it was %maximum health as AD think about anyone who is NOT A TANK. They would be **InSTANTLY **shredded if she even looked in their fragile direction. This is is balanced due to the fact that the true damage is HELPING the assassins not be blown all to shit in less than 3 auto attacks.

With all of this in mind, it brings a lot to the table, due to the fact that Fiora will be a beautiful champion with new creative game play. I can almost promise you that if even most of these changes will go through, she will see a lot of competitive play, and extreme ban rates due to people being unable to cope with this new play style that shes bringing. Thanks for reading all of this, and i appreciate feed back below.

PS. Please change her face back to the way it looked before, this new one is very disney-ish and villiany. Shes suppose to be a sexy assassin not... that?

Stay Spicy my friends.

From the preview I thought the healing was waaaay too much. But dunno how it will actually work. It's not like everyone will stand around healing instead of chasing

I like all the abilities. But they replaced fiora If you see GP, ashe, ryze, mf their reworks didnt feel like new champs. it still felt like i was playing ashe, ryze etc. but this, they have created a new champion. i do not dislike the kit, its brilliant. but they have replaced fiora with someone else. fiora is dead
