Hi all, I am a new player that just reach level 30 and have enough 16 champs to play ranked game. After 2 starting terrible battles, I have a question : Why I always be matchmaking with a team with full silver and gold ranked from season 5 ? Although I am only a beginner rank. This make me very difficult to win because they are all more professional than me. Please explain for me to this, thanks.
huanpark1 votesLOL it starts like that too see the balance for you. It shows if u are compatiable to be gold/silver/bronze. So if your not too good play support so the gold on ur team might carry you.

Bronze 1 to silver 4. Your mmr, which decides your rank and opponents starts around 1200. From there your 10 placements fluctuates that number and places you relatively where you are suppose to be.
Miku Lv991 votesYou start at 1200 MMR which is the baseline for being good enough to be in silver 4. Just play some games, win some and lose some, and it'll match you up with people close to your skill level eventually.
