Kalista - Everyone's losing their mind

This happens whenever a new champion comes out, everyone starts to flip shit because "OH MY GOD SO OP RITO STAHP MAKING OPCHAMPSBECAUSEIMBADANDOKTOJIOQGWSMLDBMF". For real though, calm down, in a week or two everyone will have lost interest, and people will have had enough time to develop strategies to play against her. If she needs a nerf, she'll get nerfed, but rest assured riot knows better than you, so shut the fuck up already. For what it's worth though, she's not nearly as strong as people are making her out to be, her strength comes from the fact that she's NEW.

So...I shouldn't use Boards in the way they were meant to be used because you don't want me to? Seems legit.

You've got the normal order backwards:

  1. Champion is announced. Everyone says they're OP.
  2. Champion is released. Everyone laughs at players learning to play the champ, and calls the champion under powered.
  3. Riot buffs the champion right as popularity dies (they're not "new" anymore), and those players that are getting good with the champion start to really take off.

What's happening with Kalista is:

  1. Champion was announced. Everyone said she was OP.
  2. Champion was released. The new Kalista players are very effective with her right off. This further drives the impression of the champion being OP

It might be a hair early to call Kalista OP, but the last champion that was like this was Braum, and everyone thinks that his nerfs were called for and he's still in a good spot.

More than one champion has been released in a state where they were too strong.
