What is wrong with placements? Serious issue

I literally go 10-0 in placements, i have a 8.04 KDA with 68% Kill participation. I am STILL placed in Silver 5. Why? What is the reason for this? Makes no sense. If i am getting double digit kills every game when they are under 30 minutes, carrying hard, why am I not playing against better players? I went 17-4 and my mmr went down according to op.gg. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=reformed%20twitch This is absolutely obnoxious and needs to be fixed. Not going to waste time ranking through silver when I should be getting placed inside of gold somewhere. FIX IT.

I am assuming that riot has decided to "bring the experience of climbing" to ranked by making league system void of substance, a-la-hearthsone's defunct ladder.

I.E. they put you superlow and then you get to experience climbing though the season until you get to where you are supposed to get to at the end of the season.

in the mean time you have zero accurate data as to your own ability. So ranked is basically become casual.

its cause this is your first season of ranked play, your def much better then silver based on those scores but the game wont place you much higher just because its your first season.

Thats not the point, its stupid having to play with worse players than yourself when you are playing a TEAM GAME

Exactly. Which is why Riot sorts the players out like this to make sure that once you hit higher elo, you actually deserve higher elo.

If you look at my scores, it does show i am that much better. Therefore I feel like it should work as it does in regular ranked, where as you do better, you get better players. This was simply not happening during my placements. I maintained playing with low silver.

This is a smurf account, my main account is diamond 2. the experience of climbing has already been experienced. Now it is annoying becuase all I want to do is have some fun with some actual decent players. I gain nothing from games playing with silvers.
