if you ever play hero of the storms you cant play league

the movement in league of legends is that of a snails pace in comparison.

if you ever play heroes of the storms .. its so much faster... you feel like you are dead in the water in league, and the movement is so slow and clunky.

you should learn how to do this. . . faster game play is always more skilled than this slow sluggish movement.

I don't have any of these problems when I switch between these games... I even play Dota 2.

Also RIP Dawngate...

Protip; don't complain that one game doesn't have the same traits as another. HotS and LoL are good games in their own right, if you can't play League of Legends because its "sluggish", "slow", and "clunky", then just stop playing League of Legends altogether, rather than trying to pull the "oh HotS is better" argument.

The lack of wards in HotS made me hate that game.

It's because the maps are smaller. Of course you're going to move around it faster. Matches are expected to be shorter than they are here; it's just the way it's designed.

If you play HotS, you also feel like you're playing much less of a game, so it makes sense that it's faster.

I prefer smite.

Heroes of the Storm might be faster, but it's so boring with the PvE elements. At least League has a bit more interaction, depth, and strategy to it. Then again, I'm one of those people who approach games like League and even Magic the Gathering like I would to chess.

Try and sell me on Smite. I've been looking at trying it but nothing specific has stood out to me.

the community is pretty bad, id say worse to same as league. i say this because the community is full of elitist %%%s (alot of which moved from lol to smite), additionally the mmr system in smite is non existent, you can be pair against someone lv 30 while your lv 5 so it can feel frustrating at times when you have people just flat out destroying because you lack any game knowledge. i don't have to much of a problem with gamplay but another gripe of mine is that practically every god is the same price, its like the equivelent of grinding 4800 ip just to get 1 god then doing that over and over, i found it got pretty stale pretty fast, but thats just me.

It's free and it uses a fixed 3rd person low angle camera. You can get 4 free gods by getting codes from their social media pages if you do want to try it. "Free" and "different" should be enough to try it out. They just added it to Steam too.

The performance is amazing. It runs incredibly smoothly on my computer despite being 3D, while League in an isometric view lags on occasion and averages 30-45ish fps.

The gameplay is pretty alright. It takes getting used to, including item building, just like League was when we were newbies. I suggest changing your keybindings, which is pretty easy (I use Q2ER for spells, 1 and 3 for items, and F and V for actives).

Flexibility is amazing. It's not like League where you always run flash and then a meta summoner, you can actually purchase two actives (no item actives, which means less button pressing when you already have ASDW controls). Most actives from what I seen are viable, and the "cleanse" active is pretty damn useful in this game. You can even upgrade your actives in an upgrade tree (using gold) and even change it.

There's multiple game modes, and everyone one of them has their own first win of the day bonus. All of them individually. You can get like 500 extra in-game currency, where several of the gods cost 5500 (you heard that, bby. League, eat your heart out). It's not like League, where everyone plays SR and occasionally ARAM and nobody knows how the hell Dominion works anymore. All of these game modes exist, and all of them are played, and they are all fun.

Wards are insanely cheap compared to your gold gain. And they take up a consumption slot rather than an item slot (and there's a mana/health potion hybrid for the same price as other potions if you're concerned about that).

Every single god is broken in their own way, and there's counterplay to everything. Several gods can be played in several ways, depending on how you combo their abilities.

Jiggle physics, if you're into that kind of thing.

You get your ultimate at level 5. Level cap is 20.

If you're a fan of Greek mythology, you can play as Aphrodite, Athena, and Artemis. Nothing beats kicking ass in high heels (I'm not shitting you, Athena is badass like that).

You have to aim your "autoattacks." That means you can dodge them too! D: It adds a level of difficulty and counterplay to the game, and yet I somehow find it a lot more fun. It's like comparing TERA to WoW, and I would always choose TERA. And you can block attacks that would kill your allies. Tanks are so much more useful in this game!

I believe you can buy skins with in-game currency (hella expensive, but that's fair imo), and you can even get gems (basically RP) just by logging in six-seven days in a row (totally worth it). Every god is priced at 200 gems without exception, making it look less pricey and cash-grabby.

HOTS is like league but for beginners, there is less to worry about and everything is severely overturned.

Then play someone faster like Yasuo
