Is it Possible to get Demoted in Preaseason?

So I am currently at Diamond 5 0 lp. I stopped playing ranked a little less than a month ago, in case I went on a loss streak and got demoted. The season has ended, and I would like to start playing ranked again, but is it possible to get demoted? If it is possible, what will happen if I get demoted? Will I still get diamond rewards when they come out or will I get platinum rewards if I am platinum when they come out?

You will still get the rewards, the season is over, the cut, the deadline. Doesnt matter in the preseason if you drop, it just affects your s7 rank more or less
