Yi has to be unable to attack for the duration of the channel for his damage reduction..... Irelia has to become unable to attack for her damage reduction... Thresh cant auto while his chain is attached to something or someone or in the air... Fiora is unable to attack or move during her damage reduction/nullification....

But jax can spin his lamp and be immune to autos while he is jumping and autoing everyone still?

Braum is at least using his fist. Jax is using the lamp he is spinning.

Its like being able to attack people during zhonyas. You're immune to everything but you can still attack people. Its a bad comparison because zhonyas is a stasis but yeah.

I would be interested in a Jax E change. Maybe to move the power around, after dodging attacks have passive from ulti passive primed and gain increased attack speed for a few seconds? And if he cancels it early he doesn't get the bonuses. Just like Kennen's new change to his Lightning Rush.

Right now being able to basic attack while dodging is his only method of being able to jungle effectively, without building or speccing into sustain immediately.

Jax.......I dunno how I feel about Jax. I haven't faced a good one in a while. Yeah, he scales into a monster, but I feel like Irelia, Fiora, Trynd, and Camile overshadow just about every top laner right now. Jax is rather low on the food chain if you ask me.

Let's see here...

Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance for up to 2 seconds, causing all basic attacks against him to miss. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately.

So. He is not immune to everything. In fact, the only thing he is immune to is basic attacks. 25% reduced damage from AOE is fine, but what about single target spells? Let's take Lux for example. Jax presses E. Lux dishes out the Q E R combo. The only thing he is "immune" to is 25% of the damage from E.

Jax is fine. There is a reason he hasn't changed much since his release.

It makes sense to me. If you ever look at any staff/lamp style martial arts, they definitely can use their weapon for offense and defense simultaneously. It's not abnormal to block/defect while striking in the same motion.

I really don't think this is a problem. Either you are running away from him, disallowing him to auto effectively, or he stuns you in place and his effect ends. Orrrrr you're kinda standing there and letting him whack away at you. Jax is hard enough to win with already. Maybe this requires a change in the future, but I don't think so.

Yi has healing attached to his and massive damage reduction to allow ridiculous towerdives, Irelia's does a solid chunk of damage, Fiora has a slow/stun attached to hers, and you're bitching about Jax getting off 2-3 autos while it exclusively avoids only autoattacks? The only thing Jax has going for him is hoping the enemy isn't aware of counterstrike's damage amp based on the # of attacks avoided.

Jax still takes full damage from single target abilities and some reduced damage from AOEs.

Yi and Irelia migrate every single form of damage there is as far as i know, and Yi heals while he does it while Irelia has much more mobility to compensate.

Jax? Sure he does what he does but its not really overwhelming.

He still gets his ass handed to him by ....well Fiora, riven,quinn, wukong, jayce, nasus, teemo and a bunch of others.

Heck even Tryndamere goes even in that matchup as of now according to op.gg.

Sure, let Jax have 65% base damage reduction with AoE damage that both scale with AP and can't be canceled by CC instead of just dodging autos. See how that works out.
