Has Riot Games Ever Consider Porting to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PS4?

I have been playing League since season 5 and while that is not as long as other people, it is enough for me to notice many changes throughout the years. When I try to get my other friends to get into the game, they tell me that they dont have a good PC, which shows later on.

Then when MOBAs started to come out on the phone, some people began to mock me and said oh its exactly like League but its better cause its on the phone. Then I realized the audience that League can also obtain. I am aware that Riot games did not want to port League to the smartphones, there are other options.

I always thought that League of Legends could really expand their player base if they port their game over to other consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PS4, and especially now in this generation of grow cross platform gameplay, League of Legends could really gain a lot of attention if they do decide to port over. (Although Sony may be a bit rough to work with)

The major benefit is that this could be free on the other stores, which will encourage many new players to test out the game and could help revive the MOBA genre

While I am aware that the wonderful people on Riot Games have probably strongly considered this option, could we get a statement on the topic and if this will happen?

I've played this game before with a ps4 control and it worked pretty good (Albeit targeting was buggy) they'd have to rework how alot of abilities work or make them autocast on nearest enemy champion instead if they wanted to port to console.

They could actually do it if they wanted. I mean after all the company that partners or owns them not sure what it is has released Arena of Valor on switch and yes it has it's little bugs and unbalanced a bit when is LOL ever fully balanced. It is sadly part of the game where there is 1 or 2 over powered characters for a bit that everyone uses until the game is tweaked and currently that would be our new marksman Tel and our old one Violet who can reach towers outside of the towers reach, and in fact I have been shot without Violet in view at all her reach is to far. I got off topic but yeah it could be done because they already did it and I love League but I love a ton about Arena like setting up your items and shopping from anywhere for the items you already have setup. It makes matches much faster so you don't wait around for 45 or more minutes to lose and even a win feels a bit dragged on. I love League still and Janna is my girl but I have not played because I hate knowing I am glued to my screen for at least 40 minutes minimum. It would be great to have it on a portable so I can move around my home easily and even sit on my deck and play some league. =)
