Need some help/tips on being a carry

Hey guys I'm in need of some really good tips in carrying in Bronze elo. Last season I hit Silver in promos but this year I was placed in B4 with a friend. I usually main mid but most of the time my bot lane doesn"t adc very well so i switched for this elo. I really got my mechanics down but somehow I always get no peel or the enemy team's tanks always rush me and push me outta the fight so I have no way in helping my team. They also usually attack the front lines. Can anyone help me with certain items to build in certain situations such as when to pick up a LW or go straight to more dmg items. I'd really appreciate some input. Thanks in advance!

So are you an ADC main? or do you just mean carrying in general?

Well I usually queue up mid or adc but yeah just carrying in general

Alright, well Mid is probably one of the best lanes to solo-carry with. Try to pick high damage, low counterplay champions that you can snowball hard with. I can honestly say Annie was my savior from Bronze; farm with Q, all-in them at 6 with Stun + Tibbers-Combo + Ignite to get yourself rolling. Rinse and repeat, and roam Bot Lane. Talon is another person who can do this well, same with Diana. Make sure you tell your team to group, and WARD whenever you are able to.

ADC is kinda difficult to carry with atm, just because it's an Assassin meta. Probably the best ADC for Assassins is Ezreal, specifically his Blue Build with Manamura, Ice-Gauntlet, and Bloodthirster; you do a lot of damage, are really hard to burst down, and you kite the dick out of tanks even without peel. Play safe in your lane, only engage if you have an aggressive support like Leona or Thresh, WARD, and just wait till teamfights.

Damn man I really appreciate the input. Yeah I never really get the peel I need when I play adc so I will definitely try Ez out! Also thank you for the tip about the assassin meta, I never really thought about it until you pointed that out. Thanks again man, you gave me some really useful info!
