Why not temeo?

Ive noticed that a lot of older champions are getting reworks, why not Teemo? a simple thing such as changing teemos poison to a toggle able affect that requires manna to use, would make a dramatic change in his game play, or viability late game. By making the change to a toggle able ability, it should be able to trigger items such as item 3151 and item 3116 like Amumu or atleast make it where it gives you an ammo stack, "use: gives teemo 5/10/15/20 poison darts that do 10/15/20/25 (+.05*ap) for 10 seconds. 15 second cool down. passive: every 3 auto attacks reduce the cool down by 1 second." or have him build up stacks for his ammo rack over time, as it states in his lore, he collects his poison while in his periods of isolation. change his passive to give 5% max hp and manna per second while stealth instead of increased attack speed when he brakes stealth, move quick can be used while stealth for a short tumble and remain stealth (dodge skill shots) but it doubles the cool down of move quick. his title is "the swift scout" so he should feel fast, and scout like, meaning the ability to escape quickly and evade most enemies, while having the capability to fight everyone one on one with some type of extra burst damage.

Learn to spell Teemo and we'll talk.

Think about the interaction this would have if you build Teemo on-hit...he builds liandrys and blade of the ruin king and does insane %health with every auto. Doubt that riot will make a change like that.

because teemo is fine the way he is

I would say Teemo is "not broken" and "low priority" versus "fine." He could use a tune-up. Not a total rework, but he's ancient and a lot has changed since his kit was designed.

his kit is still good. whats your problem with it? he utilizes many items perfectly, he can lane against many champions and dominate them. he is a relatively strong champion overall. there's absolutely no need to change anything about him.

His kit is fairly bland and hardly dynamic outside of his ultimate. Blandness because his trade pattern is really predictable, and his laning is fairly binary. He either shits on someone, or he gets shat on. There's rarely a middle ground.

there's a middleground for almost everyone including teemo. also, he scales good.

this sounds more like the problem is that you have little understanding of laning.

Oh yeah, let's insult people. That always turns out well.

His whole thing is just a bit wonky when you think about it. I mean, why does he scale so much better with AP when he's not doing something magical or using hextech? Why do the mushrooms that he picks up off the ground get stronger as he gets stuff? For that matter, why is he looking at the ground so much? Why does the scout stealth only when he's still; doesn't he need the ability to escape unseen?

It's an old concept. I'm not saying he needs a CertainlyT kit. But

As for my problems: he has no real counterplay, he's not especially engaging. It's not like laning against him is hard as long as you're not a total fucktard; I'm okay with losing a few CS if I can out trade Teemo, which many can. I've never seen anyone succeed with AD Teemo. He doesn't bring anything to a teamfight other than damage, and there are better splitpushers.

Basically, I never want him around, but he's not gamebreaking or even rage-inducing. He's just this weird little bundle of suck who is fairly balanced.

thats because teemo is only good when you have brain, but since most people have no brain, sure hes almost useless. also, he is a team champion as his biggest strength in teamfights is setting them up with shrooms.

his laning is much stronger than you think. thats why i say you have little understanding of laning if you think you can "outtrade" teemo and are fine with "losing some cs". most champions, including all tanks and a decent amount of bruisers and assassins, cannot outtrade teemo or beat him in lane. his weakness is that he has no real target burst and no reliable cc, let alone hard cc. tho if you can shut down a toplaner and set up good fights for your team, hes incredible. only problem with setting up teamfights is that people would be needing to fight in his shrooms, which in soloQ, they wont. they will jsut go somewhere and die and blame teemo ;D

hes super fine the way he is, no need to ruin his cool kit for more soloQ-noob-friendlyness.

if anything, they should rework him into a passive support imo.

people are always joking how teemo is a living ward. why not actually turn him into one and make him good at it? instead of dealing damage, his shrooms are basically free wards. but he can place them at greater distance than now. champions who walk over them grant true sight for a certain duration instead of taking damage, and when an ally steps on a shroom he gains a speed buff.

maybe he could get a new passive to see enemies in the fog of war and over walls within a certain radius, similar to how rengar can see champions when he ults.

he could be focused around actually scouting ahead for his team, moving quickly through the enemy jungle and provide vision for his team. his passive could be turned into an active, so he can sit in place and sneak past an enemy jungler.

he is a scout after all. give him a consistent support kit imo instead of having his shrooms explode and deal damage.

right now, hes just an anoying shit whos focused around poking and kiting. the only thing hes good at is giving his opponent an anneurism. half of it has to do with the fact, that the only time when hes really strong is when the opposing team is actually ahead and how he slows down games to a crawl. imo remove most of his damage and give him a ton of utility focused around vision instead.
