I am looking for a clear explanation behind how the placement "system" works.

Last season I believe I finished Silver 3 (could be S4, not 100%). I just recently finished my 10 placement games. I won 7 of the 10 games. After finishing I was placed in the Bronze 1 division (lovely my first time in bronze). I am extremely confused of how this happened.

I did extremely well in all of my ranked games (for the most part) and did not disconnect, afk, or rage at any players. I linked my LolKing profile to verify how I did. Some of my performances, coming directly from my match history; Vayne: Win 12/4/10 Vayne: Win 15/2/6 Vayne: Win 7/0/3 Orianna: Win 18/0/12 Karma: Win 5/2/14 Tristana: Win 14/6/2

Why am I so far back now? This makes me not want to play Lol anymore...

Riot wants everyone to be able to climb the ladder this season. Being MMR based, the system is less dependent on your winrates than your general MMR prior to the season reset. Plus, the system was very harsh this season to enforce that all players are given the opportunity to climb the ladder.
