I've been doing well in Ranked flex and won 8 out of 10, and have been playing with golds and plats, yet I still got bronze 5. I was silver 5 in season 6. Does it just place you one whole rank under what you had the season before?
My friends have been getting either the same rank as before, or a tiny bit lower even though they lost majority of the placement games. My mmr is around mid-high silver, why did it place me in bronze 5?

Pandemic Punch1 votesYou can expect a rank that low if you were Silver 5 last season. If you won 8/10 games though that does seem harsh. I would expect at LEAST bronze 3 or 2
