With MM constantly complaining about morde, you'd expect morde to be weak.

I just got 3 shot by a mordekaiser with trinity force, rylais, and gunblade. Could I have avoided it? Aside from being out from his ult range, no. Because you know what? Rylais still slows, Mordekaiser still has a DOT spell with the same amount of slow value and the bullshit damage that's unavoidable with the perma slow. he literally killed me in 2 q's and an e + gunblade. Any counter damage was completely nulled by his 100% hp shield he gained from hitting me with 3405042524 magic damage and from his gunblade healing.

the counter to this was having your team destroying the most squishy melee ever with trash armor and hp, and cc him with his 325 base ms

the counter to morde is to run away, he can't do shit to catch you, and 20% slow from rylai won't help

to answer to your question mm is always talking from a view on high diamond/master mmr, he doesn't give a fuck about bronze where people stand still in front of morde

Would it have been different against a melee carry with 3 items such as Yasuo item 3046 item 3031 item 3072 ? or Jax item 3078 item 3146 item 3124 Or MasterYi item 3142 item 3153 .. The list can go on. And the answer is no. Maybe not 3 autoattacks, but probably around the same amount of time (since they have higher attack speed) and with a more consistent DPS afterwhile.
