Report Players In Champ Select

As the title states, we need the ability to report people before the game even begins, or at least start logging the Champion Select chat so when we do report a player the tribunal can review the Champion Selection chat log.

I have had two recent instances of games where at the last minute a troll steals another players role then "acts nicely and innocent" in game while everyone else is complaining in game so he would not get banned.

These trolls are obviously manipulating the system, so it needs to be corrected. These are the really toxic players that need to be punished but are falling through the cracks.

Also be able to mute players in champion select. I wish I could just "omg this dumbass is going karthus jg gg" - "well this is a normal game and yes karthus can jungle" - "go fucking kill yourself" (muted).

Problem with this is only that people who choose to do something non-meta like karthus jungle or ADC janna will get reported even if they were to do well. In my opinion, you should only be able to mute them in champ select for the time being.

Agreed. I get so tired of people trolling lobbies locking the same role as someone before them and fucking with everyone elses game.

Especially when it's a troll duo+. Had a game where I first picked my ADC, fourth pick raged and locked Varus in anyways and went top with Kassadin, leaving my support to cover mid. Played for about 5 minutes and decided fuck this, and alt f4'd. What a waste of time.

I want to report the trolls when they already said they are going to feed.

I think it woud be great if there are several things Riot can offer.

For example, we are able to "block" players so that they cannot add you as a friend. What if we make this "Block" more complete? There are so many players that I will never ever want to play with again. So if we can block them from join a team from the queue system, this would definitely better.

Furthermore, we do have that honorable mark which we can see before the game starts. What if we can see how many times that a player is reported. What if we put this into the queuing system that you will have teammates that would have the same report time level with you?

No, they need to implement a system where your team can vote to dodge for no LP loss or game loss in series during champ select. In the last game of my last series, I had this troll who was last pick and demanded mid. I was afk getting a drink when he said he wanted mid in our chat. When I picked Diana with our second pick, he started typing in all caps at me about how he was going to come mid with me or feed the enemy team. He could have said something to me earlier because I hovered Ziggs, Ahri, and LB for the entire time leading up to my pick before locking in Diana last second. To try and stop his trolling, I offered to take Diana top, but he didn't want that. He only wanted to come with me to lane and feed the enemy. After a minute or so, he, seemingly, calmed down, and said he wouldn't troll if I told him where to go. The fourth pick on our team was hovering Maokai, and I told the guy to go adc. Well Maokai changed his mind and locked in Draven last second. I try and tell this guy to go top, but he doesn't respond to me for a second. Then he tells me, "no, you said adc. I'm going adc." When it came to our last pick, this troll instalocks Jinx. Then says it's my fault since I told him he had to adc.

I have always wished in champ select that there was a way to vote kick somebody. Kinda like in WoW. Where your team can vote to kick somebody. It would essentially start the lobby over - but wouldn't count as a leave for the rest of the team.

Tribunal doesn't exist anymore.

Agreed. I've heard some of the meanest rudest things in pregame/postgame lobby
