dropped from b 3 to b 5 in one game and not from placements

I was place in b3 after going 7 and 3 in placements having mostly good games. Seems a bit low but not bad. I did end in B1 with 0 lp last season as well. but then loose my first ranked game and go to b5. I don't understand. Anyone have any ideas

There was another mmr reset today, this game u played was a "new placement". I got s3 after going 7-3 from finishing b4 last season, played the "new placement" and got b5.

thanks man i appreciate it. I see that now that you say that. It sucks that this one placement game seems more important than all the others and my last season. Tons of people are having a hard time with this i see now. I guess things happen. though. I sucks climing as a support which is my main. I actually switch to adc when below b 3. I know all bronze and silver are bad including me. But the difference between b5 and b2 is so huge. Any way thanks for the help.
