Summers Rift Is Basically Battle Royale

Battle royal (plural battles royal, also royale) traditionally refers to a fight involving many combatants that is fought until only one fighter remains standing. ... Within combat sports and sports entertainment, the term has a specific meaning, depending on the sports being discussed. (Definition of battle royale)

Summers Rift is a 5v5 Gamemode where each team strives to eliminate the enemy core throughout a process of taking core objectives.

This is a battle royale because of the fact that when one win **NO MATTER WHAT **there is one fighter alive. Everyone else jumps in enemy base, especially if there is a tank and a rengar on a team.

_CHANGE MY MIND _

I am being serious (genuinely) and i think there should be a new battle royale gamemode just meant for it and then Summoners Rift can be more "Team Deathmatch" based gamemode finally.

I think people need to let this Battle Royale trend die down and stop trying to apply it to everything in some fashion.

No, a MOBA is not the same as a Battle Royale for a myriad of reasons, though mainly because MOBAs have a large focus on strategic team coordination, objective-focused gameplay, and specific (unique) champion strengths.

While it's true that some BR games have these elements (mainly in squad-based modes such as Squads in Fortnite or special limited time modes) they are not the main element. Every character is the same, the matches are randomized, and the end goal is to be the last person standing.
