True damage

Does true damage have to be tacked on to everything? I was Yorick with 3980 health, I was unfortunate enough to be the villan so Garen's ult did 1200 damage, while fiora vitals/ult procs did 900 and 1100 between them. This would leave me with 780 health, but still end up shredded due to storm razor AA proccing the new infinity edge dealing more true damage.

Saying that, I as Yorick, with conquerer was able to do 11891 true damage in total during this game. It was a normal game but still, the sheer amount of true damage running around is daft.

well, all the champs you listed are a 1v1 champs. you can't have a 1v1 champ if a single thornmail kills them. and those champs fall in teamfights

look at most teamfighting champs and you'll see the difference,
