Other Player Honor Levels?

So I got Honor Level 4 today, and I thought "Hey, that's pretty neat, I wonder what my friends honor levels are".

So not only can we not see strangers honor levels (Which I guess I could see) but we can't even see our own, personal friends on our friends list, honor levels as well.

But I guess looking at champion mastery, runes, masteries, recent games, and so forth isn't intrusive at all!

I just don't get it. I don't see what's wrong about seeing if another player is an honorable player or not.

Maybe I'm missing something?
