New game mode Clash and smurfs

So I am super excited for the new game mode "clash" I have been wanting something like this for a while, the only thing I am really concerned about is smurfing. I know riot has said that they have a new system to prevent it but for the most part they cannot really stop smurfs in ranked PVP how do they expect to stop them in this game mode? Also does this mean that they will use the new "anti Smurf" detection in ranked games?

I just don't want to see a game-mode I am so excited for ruined.

Maybe getting more thorough personal information that will prevent us from making more than one account.

Sadly smurfing has always been a part of the game, players learn from the start of co-op vs AI that game knowledge is not even on all sides. It's a positive feedback loop and as destructive as it is for the new player experience I don't think it will ever change. You learn the ropes fast in this game.
