How to disable mouse scroll wheel zoom???

I usually use my MB3 to move my camera since im not a fan on touching the edges of the screen for camera movement but I've recently got an issue with my mouse where sometimes it might zoom in when im moving my camera.

Done my research, I've changed codes in PersistedSettings and did the [MouseSettings] RollerButtonSpeed = 0

but apparently they changed the codings so doing that in input.ini doesnt change it anymore...

wtf riot, just give us an option to change zoom in/out already fucking twats. It's not that hard

You have a couple ways to do this. If you skip any steps or do something incorrectly, then it won't work.

Method 1:

Log into the league client
Delete PersistedSettings.json
Add the settings you want to input.ini
Start a game

Note: This method will apply only the settings in input.ini and game.cfg. If you have any other settings/keybinds, make sure it is in those files otherwise you'll have to redo them in game.

Method 2:

Log into the league client
Edit PersistedSettings.json with your desired settings while maintaining the same formatting as the rest of the file
Start a game

The following screenshot shows what it should look like in PersistedSettings.json

definitely worked, thank you 2 years later from another dummy who didn't think of that lol side question, any way to make it so it just doesn't zoom in game but menus it does? not a biggy if not, just curious if maybe another line of code would work...something like a [in-game=true] and [in-menu=false]

I tried helping someone else do this about 3 weeks ago, though he apparently never could do it right. It worked fine for me, so here's all the steps I gave him; http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/8NtcdrT6-disabling-zoom?

If it doesn't work or you've already done this exactly, not sure what to tell you.

However, you might also consider simply disabling your scroll wheel entirely.
