Dueling potential relies on the opponent being auto-attack reliant. Play someone who doesn't rely on auto-attacks like Garen, Illaoi, Jayce, Pantheon, Rumble, Singed, Sion and Yorick, or someone tanky or with sustain built-in like Dr. Mundo, Maokai, Nautilus or Vladimir.
Almost no teamfight presence at all. Main job is to his Q on the ADC and then hope that his auto-attacks can atleast kill one or two guys. Otherwise will be split-pushing 24/7.
Since he is auto-attack reliant himself, play someone who can block his attacks like Jax, Shen, Pantheon or Teemo himself.
Buying Doran's Shield into Spectre's Cowl really fucks up his early poking potential.
Buying Adaptive Helm also fucks him since it will effectively give 20% damage reduction to both his E and his Ult in addition to the magic resistance already provided as well as the magic resistance you get from your Spectre's Cowl, if you also made sure to purchase that.
Buying Sweeping Lens and then later Oracle's Alteration can save you from the traps he places.
