Olaf theory crafting!

Alright, so we all know that Olaf isn't in a very good spot in the meta. Yes he is an early game monster when played right, but he's easily outclassed by so many champs atm. Especially dashing champs.

So, I was thinking "Why don't they bigger Olaf?" Well actually, it's because if they touch his numbers, it'll really make him skyrocket in the early game. Cause his Q and E are reduced so much, and so the thought of instead of increasing stats, why don't they change up his E?

I know, his E is. Essentially part of his kit, if it got buffed it would be absolutely broken. But hear me out! Olaf is struggling so much due to dashing champs and those who out scale him. Why? Because he has no way of closing the gap with landing a Q, or using righteous glory. So, to help with that, and truly make him feel like the Viking Warlord that he is, why don't they turn his E into a leap?

Again, just hear me out. His E does true dmg, and a lot of true dmg. But he is usually build tanky with maybe 1 or 2 dmg items at most. His gap closer on his Q isn't well with ganking a lane. Like yes, it slows, but he has to go back and pick it up to throw it before they reach their tower. You could throw it a small way, so you could pick it up faster, but then the slow isn't as powerful.

So back to his E. I was thinking about "how about turning it into a leap? Like Illaoi's or Pantheon's W, where it brings you to where you need to be to melee. Okay, well that helps a little, but not enough to really do much. Then why not make those Q's feel more reliable and maybe give his E bonus range when he targets a champ who he's recently hit with his axe? It would help with people like Lucian, and maybe A, but she can go invisible, so nothing can help ya there.

But this would just make Olaf broken right? Well, I thought that, and maybe yeah, it would. But how about if a champ is outside the first circle of his E, the dmg is reduced by maybe 33%. Not sure, likely gonna need others opinions on that. But to help maybe the dmg reduction is ignored if her were to ult? His leap doesn't make him immune to CC, so he's interruptable during it, but with his ult it's not, and so he just rushed at the enemy backline with no regrets like a true Viking.

Again, I'd like to hear other's opinions on this, as I'm not the smartest with this kind of stuff. I just feel that Olaf is really weak and need something, and I really love the character, and concept of a warrior that gives 0 f**ks about anything when charging into battle until the enemy or him are dead. So look forward to hearing all of your thoughts!
