So ive got a little bit of a problem, i know my main, i play my main a lot, im good at my main, now the problem is my main gets banned and that forces me to play champions i am not really confident or even good at, i was looking to find another champion to "main" or atleast get good at the champion to win games, however they never keep me interested long enough to like the champion and play willingly. so how do i keep myself motivated and what would you do?

mid lane and I would get to silver 1 but never could get gold with him so I switched to 
i started carrying/winning a lot more games to plat.
Find the champion who you win more often than your main/can carry yourself to the rank you want.
Who do you main?
knowing your main would help us a lot actually. id suggest maybe taking someone similar in that role or playstyle?
Last year i used to main Vi in ranked, as she was the character i had the highest winrate with. But i don't really have a single main, i've played the game for so long that i ended up with a small pool of champions that i'm really good with instead of just one. I've got at least two per roles, except jungle that i've got about a dozen decent picks. It gives me versatility and makes the game that much less repetitive. I'm not a meta sheep, i'd rather play champions i enjoy, but in ranked i'll usually spam my most efficient pick. This year it seems that Zac does it the most for me, Vi seems to fail me sadly :(
