i was diamond during the season 4, plat 2 currently and i believe elo hell becaus i have a smurf in silver 5 where i have 10 wins and 40 loses when im diamond what do you think?

The only "real" elo hell is when you plateau near to your real ranking. (And when you get near the League changing point, because a lot of people have skills, but doesn't care really anymore.)

You should seriously see the plat 1 - diamond 5 point. This is just ridiculous.

The closest things to "Elo Hell" are low Diamond and the Dark Abyss under Bronze V.

With the removal of clamping, people make it to Diamond V with relative ease, only to reach a wall as their MMR is way too low to keep climbing.
Bronze V is deep. Really deep. OP.GG ranks Bronze V as being ~800MR players, we suspect MMR goes all the way down to zero (we've seen sub-100MMR players before).

Oh, and there's no clamping in Bronze V, it only kicks in once you get into Bronze IV.

In both cases, the illusion of Elo Hell comes getting massively negative LP gains due to clamping and not knowing your MMR, therefore not knowing how close you are to "getting out".

ya. only up to S5-4 tho. to say you have to play better is true but if im only a TRUE S1 Player its hard to carry Bronze trolls.

Elo hell isn't one particular elo, it's the elo you are stuck in that you don't deserve to be in. So a Diamond-worthy player stuck in high Gold is in "elo-hell." None of this "s5-s3 is elo hell."

If they are Diamond-worthy then they'd have the skills to carry beyond there. I've seen Diamonds play from low gold to diamond in about 3 days.

Elo booster are like plat players playing in bronze for someone else.

Elo hell is when your skill is better than the league you're in, but not good enough to wade through the river detriment. Generally associated with b5-b3, s5-4, and g5.

If I play at a silver or even a low gold level, im not going to be able to carry myself out of bronze, it just wont happen unless I grind out hundreds of games.

Its when you get to a point that between feeders and trolls and some legitimately unskilled people, you realize "well, better luck next season."

Bronze 5 is around 800 elo, but some people are way under, even round 100. How the fck does elo hell not exist

No, that's why they need to split the ranks further apart and add a league before bronze and then move all the people that are like 100-500 down there and then 600-800 can stay in the bronze area.

I would know it took me 4 YEARS to make it to gold you are were you are because of your OWN play i went from bronze 3 to gold 1 currently in promos once you focus on your PLAY fuck your rank forget about it it says that so people feel accomplished get better who cares if you win or lose if you lose you know you are doing somethong wrong to be happy to lose and learn those mistakes that you are making and dont make them again
