Riot, I'm upset :(

So I've recently noticed something about league that is bothering me and driving me away from playing as much as I use too, I don't know if anyone else is irritated by this, but let's get to the point. So it seems like, to me anyways, that league is turning into a less skillcapped (or whatever) game. When I say this I'm mostly talking about how, when you make a mistake, you should get punished for it, that's how it use to be, but now with all the recent updates and what not, like with ekko and tahm, you can just make a pretty bad mistake and shake it off like nothing happened. It is so annoying when I'm just about to kill an ekko and then all the sudden he ults and does massive amounts of damage and kills me and gets a heal while he's at it. He doesn't even need to worry if he makes a mistake because he can just get out of it no problem. And now we have this river guy, who can swallow up his team mates like Kirby once they make a mistake. Its just like uhhg, ya know? I cry myself to sleep every night now.
