With the addition of the vision ping (amazing addition), I think it would also be hugely beneficial if there was a way to ping enemy Ults in the same fashion that we currently can ping enemy summoners.
It would allow us to communicate in a much more clear way and make it stand out in the chat box with the different colors that are used for the text (like pinging enemy sums).
It would be an awesome addition to see for preseason.

The only problem I would see is 1. Retards in low elo pinging someone ulted when they really didnt 2. Them not knowing how to use the information and catchup/zone that player

DSØ1 votesAh okay, I dont think anyone is going to abuse it and they may have used a sum , but what Im saying is thats where it could be a problem. So lets say you think fiora or zed or someone used their ult (or YASUO) and you mention it, your jungler comes in, and you guys both die.

The point is that you can communicate vital ganking information to your jungler with a click or two, instead of having to go out of your way to type. Vision, summs and ults are the main info to give. We just need the 3rd.

Selkraps1 votesI don't really see it being harmful. It can't be any different than pinging sums. Same issue can be said if enemy doesn't flash but your laner pings the flash. It's just an easier way to communicate when cooldowns are used for better roams/ganks.
I personally think the different text color makes it stand out and highlights it. Sure it can be done without it, I mean that's what we're all doing now. Just my 2 cents.
Selkraps1 votesI personally use the "Vision" ping a decent amount since it was introduced and I noticed that people notice those areas a lot more and clear wards or stay clear of that area.
